Have you ever wanted to cast away and spend your life on the open seas? Well, even if you’re not ready to become a full-time sea gypsy, at least take a few hours to dip into the saltwater lifestyle through a collection of mesmerising oceanic films from around the globe.

Discover the plight of the Giant Pacific Manta Ray, learn the tear-jerking truth about how New Zealand’s humpback whales were almost wiped out, and join a group of nomadic sailors on a journey across raging seas from Antarctica to Patagonia.

Dive further beneath the surface to freedive on a shipwreck, encounter alien creatures residing in the deep, and meet awe-inspiring individuals whose lives have been transformed by the ocean.

The 4th Ocean Film Festival World Tour is a visual celebration of the incredible oceanic environment, unique seafaring characters and the filmmakers who’ve dedicated their lives to capturing the raw, saltwater territory. Bringing together communities with a passion for the sea and the coastline, the festival is being screened in almost 30 locations across the UK.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain.
